Following the AGM, preparations are now underway for the 2025/26 season.

It looks likely that we will have a further addition to our ranks for next season and with nine participants, it will give us the largest number of teams playing in the league since 2013/14. This will give rise to some logistical challenges, as not only will we have to factor a bye into the weekly schedules, it will also necessitate playing a preliminary round in the various knockout competitions. Factor in the two recesses for the Xmas & New Year festivities and for the Easter Bank Holiday and the season may need to commence in September and/or be extended into April for the first time since 2015/16 - and in those days, the teams played each other home and away twice!

Apart from those challenges, there will also be alterations to the format of the knockout competitions to try to facilitate a more timely end to the proceedings on the evening of the competitions.
